ABOUT ME

Hello and Salaam! I’m Mahsa (pronounced like NASA, but with an emphasis on the H).

In Persian, my name means “Like the Moon,” and the moon has always held deep significance in my life, often showing up in spiritual dreams and experiences. I’m a first-generation Iranian-American, fluent in Persian (Farsi) and English, along with some French and a bit of Arabic. Being an immigrant and navigating multiple cultural identities has deeply influenced how I relate to healing, identity, and belonging. And it also guides the ways I hold space for others. My work is deeply rooted in community care, collective liberation, and indigenous wisdom/traditions as it is built on the belief that healing happens in relationship with ourselves, our communities, the earth, and God/Source.

My practice is both professional and deeply personal, as it is rooted in my own lived experience of healing and recovery from complex PTSD and chronic health challenges, as well as, navigating profound spiritual awakenings. Personal development has been a lifelong journey for me, and I always strive to embody the same principles and practices I offer to my clients. In my work, I integrate a rich blend of training in Trauma-Informed Psychology, Somatic and Attachment-based approaches, Spirituality, and Transformational Coaching. I’m  passionate about helping my clients gain the tools and insights they need to overcome life’s challenges and to cultivate a fulfilling, enriching life.

“There is reason, after all, that some people wish to colonize the Moon, and others dance before it as an ancient friend"

James Baldwin
